A Taylored Therapy by Andrea Taylor
I’m Andrea Taylor, a London-based psychotherapist specialising in couples therapy, trauma therapy, and addiction recovery counselling. With over two decades of experience, I have worked across both harm minimisation and abstinence models, collaborating with respected organisations including Blenheim Project, Turning Point, Priory, Portobello Behavioral Health London, APN London, and Camino Recovery in the UK and Europe. My professional journey has included roles as therapist, manager, and director, overseeing addiction services and supporting clients through complex emotional challenges.
My therapeutic approach is warm, person-centred, and grounded in evidence-based trauma work. I support individuals and couples to heal past wounds, strengthen communication, and rebuild healthier, more resilient relationships.
I offer online therapy across the UK as well as sessions from my London practice in Knightsbridge, and I invite you to begin with a brief introductory call to explore whether working together feels right for you.
Andrea is an incredible counsellor. My husband and I have been working with her for the past two months, and our marriage is already in a much better place. She has helped us understand the roots of our misunderstandings and approach each other with more compassion. Our communication is better than it has ever been, and we have Andrea to thank for that. We’re continuing our counselling because it’s been so transformative

How does your therapy process work?
1. Lets get to know each other
A free introductory call will help us to get to know each other and work out our best path forward. We’ll work out what kind of counselling you require, get an idea of your background and define our goals together so we are on the same page.
2. Lets heal together
I take a personal approach to each client, working through your unique situation.
With weekly calls or face to face counselling in my Knightsbridge London practice, we’ll work through everything methodically and effectively.
3. Ongoing Support
Everyone is unique and has different requirements. We’ll setup a regular schedule that suits you to make sure you’re getting the support you need.
Why choose me?
With over 20 years’ experience in psychotherapy, I offer a thoughtful, person-centred approach shaped by both clinical training and real-world practice.
My work is informed by ongoing professional development and evidence-based therapeutic models, ensuring the support I offer remains relevant, ethical, and grounded in current best practice.
I recognise that no two people or relationships are the same. Whether you are seeking individual therapy, couples counselling, or support with trauma or addiction, our work together will be tailored to your unique experiences and goals.
I am a registered member of BACP and work in accordance with professional and ethical guidelines.

What people say
Andrea was the most caring counsellor I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Her experience was clear as she guided me through the darkest time in my life. Honestly I didn't know if I was going to make it. But now I know I will thanks to her
